Settings do not update on refresh

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. create a widget
  2. preview widget
  3. add userPref
  4. refresh xml
  5. preview widget

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

i should see the new setting under the settings link

instead i do not see the new setting

Please provide any additional information below.

the work around includes renaming your xml and loading a new app.
