As a founding member of the Open Social initiative, hi5 provides a robust platform for third-party developers to integrate games, content, and other applications easily into hi5 – with thousands of applications already available today.  Once approved, developers can distribute their Open Social applications through the hi5 Applications Gallery.

  hi5 has aligned with dozens of companies developing compelling game content for distribution through the hi5 Games channel.  Preferred partners provide games that are Flash™-based with no download or plugin, and that integrate to the hi5 Coins virtual currency for in-game transactions.

  Companies providing other Open Social based applications besides games can get their applications approved and distributed through the hi5 Platform Program.
